Sussex Consortium
Developing a pilot project together, The Children’s Beach House, Inc and the Cape Henlopen School District opened a school designed especially to serve students with severe learning disabilities and were unable to benefit from the usual education tools. Opening with 12 students, it was soon clear that other students needed this level of assistance as well. Within a year, the program had expanded to serve many different types of needs, from the learning disabled to autistic students.
